FAQ

Common questions

Does Pekker upload my dictation?

The app is designed around a local runtime. Your microphone audio is recorded for transcription on your machine, then inserted into the active app.

What do I need to run it?

Windows, the .NET 8 Windows Desktop runtime, Python 3.11 or a configured compatible Python path, and enough disk space for the ASR stack. An NVIDIA GPU is recommended.

Can I use a custom shortcut?

Yes. Pekker defaults to Copilot-key mode and also includes a shortcut capture flow for custom hold-to-record shortcuts.

How do I get Pekker after I pay?

Checkout is a one-time $5.99 payment through Stripe. The moment it completes you land on your download page and Stripe emails you a receipt, so the Windows installer is one click away.
